Reply with quote | #1 | Since no one has made a post in a long time, I'll make one. Since the economy is in the tank, unemployment is high, and costs such as shipping, supplies, etc.... are rising, are many of you raising your prices this year? I have decided not to this year but definitely will next year. Probably warped reasoning but anyway, that is what I have decided. Deer heads are 450 as I have been the last two years..... Ducks 225....
Anyone care to comment on their thoughts of price increasing at this time.....?
I'm praying all of you will have a good season with the amount of work and the right customers to meet your needs!!! God Bless, Terry

Reply with quote | #2 | I kind of felt the same way Terry. I don't really expect a decrease, but thought I would stay at $475 for one more year, then maybe jump to $525 next year if all goes well. __________________

Then we all have the same warped idea. I'm staying the same for the 3rd season but if workload stay the same or goes up I'm going up 50 next year too. Although I did have a couple competitors move in within 10 miles of me for 50 less. they can work for free, I'm not. |

I went up 25.00, but I was getting less than you guys. There seams to be two or three new shops move in wit hen just a few miles every year. It hurts when the guy up the road is doing deer for a little of nothing. |

Reply with quote | #5 | I am staying the same for the 3rd year also, on deer anyway, and so is Roger. I am charging extra for odd stuff this year though, like saving jaws for customers that ask, $10-$15. Work was down last season, |
